The 'Tou Was on Snow!

More than 30 inches of new snow welcomed Manitou campers and staff to Vermont and provided great ski conditions at Mt. Snow. The first day of skiing was chilly! But with good snow conditions Manitou campers and staff had a very enjoyable day on the slopes. The group was seen throughout the day on all parts of the mountain ? enjoying the terrain and closing out the day at the Waffle House! Sunday morning campers woke up to 6 inches of fresh snow and, after a morning breakfast buffet, rushed to be out on the first ones on the powdery slopes. Each evening, after a long day of skiing, campers and staff met at the heated pool and hot tubs to rehash the days adventure. The evenings concluded after our group dinner while watching the exciting finishes to the playoff football games. The Jets – Patriots game and Ravens – Steelers game sure brought up some fun banter among fans.

Directors and staff are already looking forward to next year’s trip!
